Dr. Ali
Dr. Ali received his first Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in Tehran, Iran, Shahid Beheshti University in 2000. He started practicing dentistry since then for ten years before he immigrated to Canada and received his second Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Toronto in 2014.
After completing his DDS at the University of Toronto, he practiced as an associate dentist in several locations in the Greater Toronto Area before opening 123 Dental in 2016, where he is the Principal Dentist.
Through all these years of practice, Dr. Ali has been able to find a loyal following of patients who appreciate the efficient care, calm and comforting demeanour — and a decent sense of humour he provides.
Dr. Ali’s Dental office can be a haven for those who like to read, listen to music, relax and enjoy the time. He has gathered a library for patients to borrow books, a piano to play, aquarium to enjoy the calmness of fish and a comfortable waiting area to feel like home.
Dr. Ali's approach to dentistry is conservative. He avoids over-treating patients and believes in preventive dentistry.
While well experienced and open to all sorts of dental procedures including complex cases, his strong suits are
- Root canal Therapy, being completed in one hour-one session time frames with the highest technologies invented.
- Dental Implants.
- Cosmetic dentistry, crowns, veneers, smile makeovers.
Dr. Ali is currently a clinical instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry, the University of Toronto where he can share his years of experience and knowledge with the dental students and give back to society while being in constant contact with the academic findings and staying tuned.
He is also a member of the Royal College of Surgeon Dentist of Canada (RCDSO) and Ontario Dental Association (ODA) and an active member of the Iranian Ontario Dental Association (IODA).
In his spare time, Dr. Ali enjoys reading books, listening to classic and influential music, watching movies, participating in cultural events, concerts, plays and festivals. He also loves travelling and world-seeing.
Dr. Ali is fond of literature and arts, phycology and philosophy concepts. He is a family man who spends time with his children and wife. He believes weekends should be completely dedicated to family activities and that’s why he refuses to work on weekends. Instead, he takes his family to Ping pong club and movie theatre or other cultural events.
Solmaz
Solmaz is a software engineer graduate and had worked in the IT industry for more than 15 years. She has developed, led and managed software projects for banking, finance, construction and other industries.
4 years ago, she decided to utilize her many years of management experience in the dental industry and started to work in 123DENTAL as an office manager.
Solmaz loves running the office and being involved in the day to day tasks of the office and always welcomes all 123DENTAL patients to share their experiences and suggestions.
Shirin
Shirin is a software engineer graduate and had worked in the IT industry for more than 10 years. She has worked in and led many IT projects related to customer services and has a solid foundation in that regard.
After immigration,
Shirin started to work in 123DENTAL as the receptionist. Showing great motivation and taking initiatives, soon after she was promoted to a patient coordinator and is playing a key role in this office.
Shirin is always available to address our patients’ requests and is even responsive after working hours through email.
Elvine
Elvine is a Level 2 dental assistant and was graduated in 2016. She first came in 123DENTAL as a patient, then completed her monitoring course for her degree. Showing a great deal of patience and politeness, she was offered to start working as a dental assistant in this office and has been working here since then.
Elvine is a passionate individual who cares a lot about 123DENTAL patients and does her best to make them feel comfortable.
Elvine is very serious about sterilization protocols and consistently overlooks all the procedures to be in place for the patients’ safety.
